When we think “budget,” Marriott might not be the first name that pops into your head, but the Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia offers a fantastic balance of comfort and value, especially if you’re staying on the Asian side. Located in the Ataşehir district, it gives you good access to explore. It’s an excellent cheap Marriott hotel you’ll never forget.
For the price, We didn’t expect our room to be so spacious and comfortable. It’s a step up for a budget-conscious trip. They had that great Marriott bedding and a decent workspace with reliable internet. We appreciated the clean, nice bathroom too.
Even on a budget, you get some solid amenities here. There’s a fitness center if you want to keep up with your routine, and they even have indoor and outdoor pools (though the outdoor ones are seasonal). For dining, they have a restaurant, Orange, and a lounge, 49 East, which are convenient options on-site. It’s a smart pick if you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable stay on the Asian side without breaking the bank.

When you’re looking for a solid, comfortable base in Marseille without spending a fortune, the AC Hotel by Marriott Marseille Prado Vélodrome perfectly fits the bill. If you’re in town for a match at the Vélodrome stadium or planning to spend time by the Prado beaches, they’re both super close.
After a day out, we loved heading back to our room. They’re designed for relaxing, outfitted with comfy pillowtop mattresses and even soundproof windows, which is excellent for a quiet night’s sleep. Also, you get that complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and a flat-panel TV. And hey, if you travel with a furry friend, they’re welcome too.
Fueling up is easy here. We grabbed the full breakfast buffet in the mornings, a great way to start the day. For lunch or dinner, Oh Massalia, the on-site restaurant, offers delicious Mediterranean-inspired dishes. There’s even a market for quick snacks and drinks. Best for families. We felt like we really got to experience the best of Seminyak when staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Bali Seminyak. Tucked away in the vibrant area, it felt like a stylish yet relaxing stay, hitting that sweet spot for comfort and value in Bali, while also being just minutes away from the beach, all the cool shops, and the famous nightlife.
The hotel has some sweet spots to hang out. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and grabbing a drink at Splash Pool Bar, and tried one of their “Best Brews.” Dining-wise, Devali Restaurant offered some delightful flavors, and catching the stunning Bali sunsets from the Above Rooftop Lounge & Bar was simply magical. With a 24-hour gym and Aswangga Spa, you can keep up your routine or just totally relax.
We loved having a private balcony and that cozy bedding. It’s cool that they also offer upgrades like suites with balcony whirlpools or deluxe rooms with direct pool access if you want to treat yourself! Staying connected was easy with the free Wi-Fi. Best for couples. The MOXY Frankfurt East is a fresh contemporary hotel that’s perfect if you plan to visit Frankfurt for the first time. This vibrant hotel was equipped with premium comforts, even at a budget price. We loved the bright decor, the big 49-inch TV, and those sleek walk-in showers. It’s all about making your stay memorable, and yes, it’s pet-friendly too!
Its location puts you in a great spot to find inspiration in Frankfurt’s energetic scene. The location puts you near the most popular attractions like The Romer, the historic Altstadt, and even the area around the European Central Bank. We explored on foot and it felt easy to access everything.
The heart of the hotel is the 24/7 Grab & Go and bar area. It’s a high-spirited and tech-enabled space. We grabbed some delectable deli dishes and enjoyed drinks there. It’s a real social hub that enlivened our senses after a day out. If you need a workout, they have a gym too. It’s a place that makes a budget stay feel uplifting and fun.

While it’s a budget option, AC Hotel Porto by Marriott still provides high-quality facilities. They have an AC Lounge, a nice spot for a relaxed drink. While we weren’t hosting an event, it’s good to know they have business facilities and event rooms available if you need them. Overall, it’s a smart, modern choice that gives you a solid base with excellent transport links to enjoy the historic city of Porto without breaking your wallet.
Being just 300 meters from the Estádio do Dragão and its metro station in the Antas District meant we had easy and quick access to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go in Porto, whether it was the city center, the airport, or the train station. And being super close to a shopping center with tons of shops and restaurants was nice for grabbing a quick dinner.
Now let’s talk about the rooms. They offer comfy and clean space to recharge after exploring. We also liked having the option to use the fully equipped fitness center as we always try to stay active even when on vacation. This is our favorite budget Marriott hotel in Portugal.

Staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Bolzano Bozen means you have the perfect base right in the heart of the Alps. We enjoyed having access to the indoor heated pool, sauna, and Turkish bath. And the panoramic mountain views from up there were absolutely breathtaking. Dining-wise, they offer a delicious buffet breakfast to get you going, and the Patio Restaurant is available for regional dishes.
It’s a modern-designed hotel with a touch of that local “Tyrolean flair,” which we thought was a nice touch. Our room was well-equipped and comfortable, clearly set up with modern travelers in mind, whether you’re there for work or fun.
